DRAMA COACHING
LEARN MORE

At Vamos Talento we aim to bring out the very best potential in every client through our carefully crafted, tailored, workshops with expert guidance and tips on performing. You’ll be amazed at how quickly you progress…not just through your acting techniques and abilities but through your learning of essential life-long skills. Our clients will develop excellent communication skills, growth in their self-esteem and lasting confidence.

The weekly classes are essential as they will focus on developing knowledge of various Drama techniques and learning about different Theatre practitioners to inspire their creation of Drama. Some of the practitioners we will be looking at will be:

BERTOLT BRECHT

Was one of the most influential figures of 20th century Theatre and the most significant practitioner since World War II. He is well known for introducing the Epic Theatre form. He was also a social activist, wanting the spectators to make change in their own world outside the Theatre. We will be looking at how we can include a, Theatre for change to inspire others in the Drama that we create.

KONSTANTIN STANISLAVSKI

Was one of the most significant modern Theatre practitioners. He promoted that actors should really inhabit the role that they are playing, so the actor should not only know his lines but the motivation for why those lines are said, he also wanted actors to know every detail of that character’s life to ensure a strong characterisation. We will not only learn more about this practitioner but how we can include this naturalistic aspect to performance and as a result create realism on stage.

ANTONIN ARTAUD

Wasa French playwright, Actor and Theatre director, he believed that performance should shock and surprise the audience and enable them to face their own fears. He wanted to cause a real experience of uneasiness and confusion in the audience that causes them to think and become involved as partakers, not silent onlookers. We will look at how we can use these interesting techniques in performance to engage our audience further.

These workshops will allow Clients to explore more about the different practitioners in a practical workshop setting and give them an opportunity to apply their learning to their own performances and given stimuli. The one hour weekly workshops are intended to be fun, theoretical and allow clients to develop their Theatre terminology and knowledge of technique in Drama further. We look at how Drama can affect our audience in a variety of ways, be it to inform, educate or inspire.

We will also be teaching clients vocal and physical movement skills to prepare them for each performance. These are crucial skills to learn and all can be embedded into their daily performance routine to ensure maximum success.

While many of our clients will go on to enjoy success in the performance world (Film, Television and Theatre) and be guided carefully through this process, some will learn essential life skills that will stay with them forever in their future careers. We also welcome children of all abilities from the age of 6 to 18 years to our unique weekly classes which are held in two locations, one in West London and the other in North London.
